Time to let yourself shine!

Once you’ve passed the initial interview, you’ll move forward to the Go2 Talent Pool. At this stage, we’ll ask you to record an Intro Video. This is an important step in the process, as we’ll be sharing your video with potential partners. It’s your chance to make a strong first impression and help us match you more effectively with the right opportunity.

Note: We may reach out to you to redo your video if needed.

The Matching Team will guide you on what to highlight in your videos. You can check out these sample videos for reference:

Submitting Your Video

If the video file is too large to upload in the survey, you can upload it to platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Loom and share the link with us. Be sure to adjust the sharing settings of your video to ensure it is downloadable.

Alternatively, you can also attach the video file directly to your email response and send it to us.

A. Check Your Setup

You may download Loom’s Desktop App or the Chrome Extension, then select the “Camera Only” option. If you’re using another app, ensure the video is viewable and downloadable.

Other tips and reminders:

  • Video Format: Record in full-screen (camera only) and landscape mode.

  • Clear & Steady Visuals: Use a laptop camera, webcam, or smartphone and ensure steady footage.

  • High-Quality Sound: Use a headset or microphone, preferably with noise cancellation. You may use Krisp to minimize background noise.

  • Work-Conducive Environment: Record in a tidy and quiet space with good lighting and a neutral background.

  • Camera Positioning: Step back so your upper body is visible and position the camera at eye level.

B. Write Your Cue Cards

Use cue cards to outline key points for your video, then elaborate in your own words to create a more natural delivery.

Let's break your intro video into three parts:

1. Intro

Introduce yourself with your preferred name and mention your current role/profession, and years of experience. Clearly state the purpose of your video and express your genuine interest in working with a potential Partner.

2. Content

Begin by confidently introducing your current role, how many years of experience you have, and a quick overview of your main responsibilities. Walk us through your past roles, highlighting your key experiences and areas of expertise to give a well-rounded picture of your background. Focus on your top 2–3 most relevant skills and share specific examples of how you’ve used these skills to deliver results, and be sure to highlight transferable strengths like communication, problem-solving, and leadership.

Pro Tip: If you’re just starting and have around one year of experience, focus on the quality of your contributions rather than the length of time. Highlight any key achievements, projects you’ve owned or supported, and what you’ve learned so far. Emphasize your adaptability, willingness to grow, and enthusiasm. These are qualities partners value just as much as experience.

3. Outro

Lastly, add a personal touch to your intro video by sharing something about yourself! What are your likes? What are you currently into?

Pro Tip: Keep it fun, but neutral. Avoid topics like politics, religion, etc. Don’t go overboard with your personal stuff.

C. Record Your Video

IMPORTANT! Keep your video to a maximum of 3 minutes to maintain viewer engagement.

Get ready to showcase your personality on camera! Here are some tips for your video:

  • No need for a suit; just dress appropriately for work.

  • Look directly at the camera as if you’re talking to the partners, and avoid reading from a script.

  • Feel free to record a few takes until you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

  • Be yourself and speak naturally.

Pro Tip: Relax and just have fun! 😄
